Let’s talk about the not-so-glittery part of sweepstaking:
The Dry Spell.
You know what I mean…
You’re entering every day.
You’re tracking everything.
You’re doing it right.
And still… crickets. 😩
First of all — you’re not alone.
I’ve been there. We’ve all been there.
The important thing is: don’t quit.
Because every dry spell I’ve ever had has ended the same way — with a big happy win that made it all worth it. 🎉
Here’s how I keep the confetti spirit alive when it feels like I’m clicking into the void:
✨ 1. I Celebrate Old Wins
I go back and look at pictures, emails, or journal entries from prizes I’ve won in the past — like my trip to Joshua Tree 🌵 or that incredible night at the Grand Ole Opry 🎸.
It reminds me: wins do happen. They’ve happened before. They’ll happen again.
✨ 2. I Focus on the Fun, Not the Outcome
Sure, we want prizes — but sweepstaking is also:
- A cozy routine ☕
- A way to discover fun brands
- A moment of hope in your day
- A little act of joy just for you
When I shift my mindset to “This is my daily sparkle moment,” I feel better — win or no win.
✨ 3. I Mix It Up
Feeling stuck? Try entering:
- Different kinds of sweepstakes (blogs, brands, Instagram, etc.)
- Local contests (way better odds!)
- A few just for fun ones — like winning donuts or socks 🍩🧦
Changing it up keeps it exciting.
✨ 4. I Limit My Time
If I’m feeling discouraged, I’ll set a timer for 15 minutes.
That way, sweepstaking stays fun — not frustrating.
Then I can say, “I did my part today. Time to move on and let the universe do its thing.”
✨ 5. I Talk to Other Sweepers
Just reading win stories from other sweepers — or seeing comments from you — makes me feel less alone.
That’s why I started Confetti Clicks — so we could build something brighter together 💖
🎁 Final Thought:
Some of my best wins came right after I almost gave up.
So if you’re in a slump —
Take a deep breath.
Light a candle.
Click three entries.
And trust the process. 💌
What do YOU do when you’re in a sweepstakes dry spell?
Tell me in the comments — let’s cheer each other on! 🎉
xo,
